Important note
You need a Nebula Cloud Account with Wireless Access Points adopted. Please ensure you have compatible devices. Some of the lower-cost devices, such as AX1800, aren't compatible 
Nebula Setup
  • Login to the Nebula Dashboard here https://nebula.zyxel.com/ and choose Control Center 
  • Go to Control Center's settings -> Configure -> Access Points -> SSID setting

  • Enable Advanced mode

  • Create a new SSID and go to edit

  • Enter SSID name and enable it

  • In security settings select Open

  • In sign up method select Click-to-continue

  • In Walled garden enter the following domains

    • getonline.captivewifi.io 

    • captivewifi.fra1.digitaloceanspaces.com

  • In Forwarding mode select NAT mode
  • Enable Guest Network
  • Save settings
  • Go to Configure -> Access Points -> Captive portal customization
    • In External captive portal URL enter the portal URL 
    • https://getonline.captivewifi.io/guest/<site id>
    • The site ID can be found under manage venue > WiFi hardware
  • Select To promotion URL and find the Unique ID URL in the dashboard under the Manage Venue option. The URL will look like https://getonline.captivewifi.io/connected/<unique id>
  • Save Settings

For Zywall Firewall devices connected to Nebula 

  • Log in to nebula.zyxel.com
  • Navigate to
  • Site-wide > Configure > Firewall > Authentication method 
    • External captive portal URL enter the portal URL 
    • https://getonline.captivewifi.io/guest/<site id>
    • The site ID can be found under manage venue > WiFi hardware
  • Select To promotion URL and find the Unique ID URL in the dashboard under the Manage Venue option. The URL will look like https://getonline.captivewifi.io/connected/<unique id>
  • Save Settings
  • Go to > Site-wide > Configure >Firewall >Authentication method
  • Choose relevant interface
  • Select > Click to Continue 
  • In Walled garden enter the following domains

    • getonline.captivewifi.io 

    • captivewifi.fra1.digitaloceanspaces.com

  • Save Settings
